In recognition of our partners’ incredible work on projects including States of Incarceration, Climates of Inequality, Rikers Public Memory Project, Guantanamo Public Memory Project, and The Renewal Project, the Humanities Action Lab has been awarded the 2026 Robert Kelley Memorial Award from the National Council on Public History.
The award recognizes “distinguished achievements by individuals, institutions, or nonprofit or corporate entities for making history relevant to individual lives of ordinary people outside of academia.”
Our Partners are HAL, and we are so proud of them for this incredible achievement and recognition of their work!
