Mutual Aid Stories, A Celebration of Come Colegial

Learn about our digital archive built in partnership with the Archivo de Respuestas Emergencias de Puerto Rico, a collaboration between the OHL, UPR-Río Piedras, Michigan State University, and the Digital Library of the Caribbean (dLOC). This project builds digital spaces for conversations between mutual aid organizations in the Puerto Rican archipelago and the event spotlights our partner, Come Colegial, as we unveil the Omeka S subsite we built to celebrate their 10 years of addressing food insecurity on our campus. Be sure to find our listening station and record your own story! The day closes with a presentation from UPR Caribe Digital, the Caribbean Digital Scholarship Collective, which is leading conversations about and actions around digital humanities in the archipelago. This event is supported by the Archivo de Respuestas Emergencias de Puerto Rico through a generous grant from the Presidential Stream of the Mellon Foundation.
